Nikon D200 exclusive preview from dpreview.com


Nikon has finally announced the new professional 10.2 megapixel digital SLR camera to nikno family, Nikon D200. It has a great features much closer to its big brother D2X. Highlights are a magnesium-alloy body, an 11-area AF sensor, 3D Color Matrix Metering II, 5 frames per second continuous shooting, 2.5" LCD monitor, USB 2.0, 1/250 sec X-sync plus WiFi and GPS support.

The best news is the price is $1,849 in the US which is cheaper than D100 when it was first released. Maybe because Nikon shift the production base to Factory in Authaya, Thainland right now. It will be availible end of December 2005, about the same time as Nikon's new 18-200 vr lens
